The first meeting of the River Almond Sub Management Group was held on the 31st May 2010, with West Lothian Council kindly hosting the event in Livingston. The purpose of the meeting is to formally adopt the Fisheries Management Plan and start to assign owners to the tasks. There has also been a great deal of movement across the catchment, so it will be good to get an update on the current plans and also any future projects.
